A Bride's Story 2 - Kaoru Mori, 森 薫 The grandmother is awesome! :D
Otoyomegatari, Vol. 05 - Kaoru Mori Last read chapter: 31Gorgeous art as always! Amir and Karluk are so cute together. :)I really like Amir's brothers too. Azel reminds me a lot of Amir herself and Joruk isn't as fickle as he seems.
A Bride's Story 1 - Kaoru Mori, 森 薫 The art is gorgeous, intricate and the story unusual. Definitely worth the read!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Book 6)

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - J.K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré I didn't really care much about the first half of the book and being a latecomer to this series, I've been aware of what would later happen but I DID NOT expect it to hit me that hard.
Curran; Naked Dinner: Part 1 and 2 (Curran POV, #7) - Gordon Andrews, Ilona Andrews Oh Aunt B... :(

Bronze Gods: An Apparatus Infernum Novel

Bronze Gods - A.A. Aguirre That was an EXCELLENT read. Mini review to come.

Dance of the Red Death

Dance of the Red Death - Bethany Griffin Such a disappointment. When I first read [b:Masque of the Red Death|12924275|Masque of the Red Death (Masque of the Red Death, #1)|Bethany Griffin|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1341716702s/12924275.jpg|15605716] last year I really liked it. It was incredibly atmospheric and the plague-ridden world was depressing and I was very much immersed in the story. It was everything this book was not, except for depressing. I don't know what happened but after 100 pages, barely anything was happening and the I felt that the characters were just going around in circles. Araby was so wishy-washy throughout the book and along with the rest of the cast, their characters just fell flat. :/And I really don't get the whole motive behind Prospero and Malcontent's actions. WTF were they trying to accomplish??---------------------------10/10 updateDAT COVER!!! O.O---------------------------2013 has never been so far away.Excuse me while I go build a time machine.

Magic Rises: A Kate Daniels Novel

Magic Rises - Ilona Andrews Re-read 28/8 ---------------------------------MY EMOTIONS AFTER READING. ;_________;First read July 30-31--------------------------------LOOK AT THE COVER! It's a different model but I love it! July, come faster!!

Fifth Grave Past the Light

Fifth Grave Past the Light - Darynda Jones 3.5 starsI have such mixed feelings for this book. I've been dying to get my hands on it since I read the last page of Fourth Grave and green with envy at the people who got an ARC. Of course, the 3-chapter excerpt they shared a few months before the release didn't help matters at all.So when the mailman finally brought in my copy this morning THREE freaking weeks after it was dispatched if I may add, damn international shipping! I immediately dived into this book. Prior to this, each new Charley book was even better than the last, at least for me. Did Fifth Grave fit the pattern and surpass the awesomeness that was Fourth Grave? I'm extremely sad to say...no. It is still a page-turner but some of the things that happened in this book didn't sit well with me.The plot. It felt all over the place. Charley was going all over the place and the pacing seems hectic. Which brings me to Charley herself. I found her rather irritating in this book. Readers of this series should have a grasp of her personality by now. Mostly fun, quirky and with a topping of ADD. Yet I felt like it was completely over the top and she disregarded Cookie's safety when she brought her in to seduce the guy who later turned out to be a psycho and how she handled the situation later flabbergasted me. And I'm all for her and Reyes getting together but she was on an important case and deadline for crying out loud. Instead of grabbing the photo and heading back out, she and Reyes boink each other and she stays the night?? WTF. Charley handles things irresponsibly. And the almost rape scene at the end. Was it was done to bring Charley down a few pegs? A wake up call? I don't know. But I felt that there could have been another way to accomplish that.I'm not sure how I feel about the Reyes in this book. He feels like a different person. And the proposal at the end floored me as well. I'm still trying to process that. With all that said, I will still be anxiously waiting for Sixth Grave. A lot of new questions and old ones were addressed in this book and I look forward to the direction Darynda will take this book to. ----------------------------------------JULY 2013?! Kill me now.
Black Butler, Vol. 16 - Tomo Kimura, Yana Toboso Souma on the cover
黒執事(12) (Gファンタジーコミックス) - 枢 やな Zombiiiies. Ronald Knox. So much win!
Black Butler, Vol. 14 - Yana Toboso Interesting to see a different side of the 'perfect' Sebastian and how he had to train himself to be Ciel's butler.
Super Lovers 5 (Super Lovers, #5) - Miyuki Abe After reading this and Hakkenden I've come to a conclusion that the author likes to draw young boys and canine companions. o__o

The 5th Wave

The 5th Wave - 4.5 starsThe 5th Wave was every bit as good and bad* as the early hype made it out to be. Bits and pieces of it reminded me of [b:Angelfall|11500217|Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1)|Susan Ee|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1319887835s/11500217.jpg|16435765], [b:The Host|1656001|The Host (The Host, #1)|Stephenie Meyer|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1318009171s/1656001.jpg|3328799] and Shingeki no Kyojin. (I loved all 3 of them!)The book is told in multiple POVs and it took time getting used to. It was rather confusing at first because there aren't any labels and sometimes you have to read almost an entire page before you find out who's POV it was in. But it mostly worked out in the end because it keeps us guessing on who exactly were the real bad guys due to conflicting information from the characters. I really liked how the narrative eventually ties together.*The sole reason I'm not giving this book full 5 stars is due to the insta-love. It felt completely unnecessary!Evan the Silencer could have had a different reason for sparing Cassie. Why must it be because of freaking "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU"??? WTF. Seriously.-----------------------------------I don't usually use GIFs but I finally won a preorder of this!!!!! SO HAPPY.
Black Butler, Vol. 13 - Yana Toboso, Yana Toboso Lizzie is awesome! :) And the flashback on how Sebastian and Ciel met.
