2.5 starsThis book had an incredibly interesting premise and started off great. I loved the dialogue and setting. But why only 2.5 stars? Sure there were a sizzling scenes but my main problem is that nothing really happened and I wasn't emotionally invested in the characters at all. I initially liked Freda a lot because she was sassy,strong and comfortable with herself. But as the book went on she went from that to saying that she's too fat (her words, not mine) and why would the god-like Nicholas want me??? all the time. Nicholas was an enigma but there wasn't much character development with him except that his dark past was revealed and he finally found the woman who was THE ONE. So yeah, this book fell between 'it was okay' and 'I liked it'.
