Quite easy to ease into.I needed something to relax after an afternoon of studying so I was a little wary to start reading this because I thought it might be too heavy, but it was not. Not sure if this is a good thing or not...The police procedures and such were interesting without being an information overload. The plot was also interesting, but not terribly gripping. Like with My Life As a White Trash Zombie (the first book I've read from Ms. Rowland), I didn't really feel the urgency/tension/suspense that should be fueling the story (a serial killer back in action again after a couple years hiatus, more people getting killed...). Overall it was an enjoyable read, although I probably won't be tearing off to get #2 anytime soon.
