It was an enjoyable read! Angel is a likable and realistic (well, minus the zombie bit) character. She is self-loathing and in certain parts of of the book, I really felt for her and wished she had someone to turn to. The other characters in the book didn't stand much...except for Marcus maybe?While the plot was pretty interesting and the whole zombie issue was mysterious -finding out who turned Angel, why was she turned,etc...-, it did not really had a sense of urgency (IMO).I'll definitely be picking up #2 when it's released. I look forward to see how the story further develops. P.S. I started wondering what brains would taste like, Angel made it sound so delicious!
