The Better Part of Darkness
Mixed feelings about this book. I like the book, well, most of it anyway. In some parts the story felt all over the place, confusing and took me the better part of the night har har lame pun to read. The action : development ratio was a bit off, it kind of jumps from one event to another without any real development. However, I liked the Charlie (despite her mood swings now and then). This is probably the first time I've read a book with a single mom and cop as a heroine.
