An interesting first book of a series.The urban fantasy books I've read in the recent months usually feature vampires, werewolves or some sort of shifter as the hero so I must admit, it was gargoyle aspect that drew me in. (Not to mention that I'm a fan of the old Disney Gargoyles series.)The switch of POVs between Margrit and Alban was disconcerting at first but I got used to it after awhile. The world C.E. Murphy created is also fascinating and I look forward to reading the next book.
