I couldn't even read until the part where America arrives at the castle. I think I stopped at the part where she agrees to sign up (after her mum bribes her). The part where she sneaks out to meet with *Iforgothisname* reminded me of the scene in The Hunger Games where Katniss and Gale were discussing the possibility of running away and the contrast was stark. From THG's corner you see that Katniss cared about her family a lot. From The Selection's end on the other hand, America was willing to dump everything at a moment's notice so she could be with the guy she's so in love with. Throughout the 10% that I read, America just rubs me in the wrong way.
